I was commissioned by Philz Coffee to design and install this mural and series of painted panel relief-sculpture at their new coffee shop at 1194 E. 14th Street, San Leandro CA. There are two distinct sections of the wall; A 22 ft x 3 ft mural behind the coffee bar, and a 16 ft x 9 ft mural that includes three wood cutout panel for the center of the community space wall, overlaying the mural for additional interest and depth. The three cutouts are of a fedora, cherries, and Mint Mojito with 50’s stockcar. They vary in size, 2.5’x1.6’, 2.8’x2.4’ and 3.5’x4.5’ respectively.
