This mural was done on a large electrical box outside in the parking lot at SHOH Gallery in Berkeley, California. The 6ft x 6ft x 5ft electrical box is very prominently located in the front of the building and can be seen driving by on Gilman Street. The box was a drab green, and was getting tagged often. I was commissioned to come up with a design that was bright, fun, and would turn the eyesore into public art. I used some paint the same color as the building behind it to try and create the illusion that the box was not square at the top. The final mural was hand-painted using brushes and acrylic exterior house paints over the course of two days.
